The Experience
Built around what brought you north.
How we plan a trip
Every trip is a custom Alaskan adventure.
Most guests start from one of three packages and shape the week from there. The packages aren't a menu so much as a starting place — the right trip depends on who you are, who you're with, and what you came for.
Pricing depends on group size, dates, and package length. We send a written quote with every inquiry reply.
Packages
Three starting points.
01
Angler's Adventure
The pure fishing trip.
Multi-day deep-sea fishing on the Icy Strait. Halibut grounds and salmon water in steady rotation, depending on the run. The trip most repeat guests come back for.
02
Glacier Bay Expedition
Fishing, with a day in the park.
A fishing-week package built around a full guided day in Glacier Bay — glaciers, whales, and the wider park. For guests who came for the fishing but also want to see the place.
03
Outdoor Voyage
Build your own week.
A custom itinerary drawn from the menu of what we run: private whale and wildlife days, guided kayaking, freshwater fishing, Glacier Bay cruises, airplane tours, and the Skagway railroad. For groups and families with a mix of interests.
Looking for something else? We've put together private charters, corporate retreats, and family weeks that don't fit any of the above. Tell us what you're hoping for in your inquiry.
Glacier Bay & beyond
The backdrop is the destination.
The park is the lodge's backyard. Whale watching, breaching humpbacks, brown bears on the shore, glaciers calving into the fjord, snow-capped mountains at the head of every channel.
Days off the boats run as private wildlife trips, kayaking, Glacier Bay cruises, or just a quiet afternoon on the porch with the strait in front of you. Couples, families, and groups who don't all fish — there's a week here for you.
